I was watching Hitch the other day and this song from Jimmy Cliff evoked my old memories. I was sorta forced to attend a 4-days Personal Development Leadership (PDL) course back in Form 3. That was my first motivation course in my life and that 4 days felt like years. I even thought of running away but I have no guts at that time. Back then, I too think rationally. I understand the consequences it takes for me to do that. Besides, my younger bro was there too. I stayed anyway, DUH..

Maybe that course make a huge difference if my life. I don't know. At least not until I found out recently. Was that the reason I was so confident in everything? Did the 4 days turned me into a better person? How all these related to my current behaviour, as in strong & tough inside? Whatever it might be, I'm sure it benefits me. On the last day of the course, each of us have to go up the stage and SPEAK. Be it about the course or your own feeling, you must thank your parents and give them a hug. Well at that time, I do felt it was embarrass to hug my parents in the public, but given a choice now, I would love to because I think there's nothing to be embarrass. It's a way to show that you care.
