Negaraku in cinema?

KUALA LUMPUR: Movie-goers may have to stand up and sing the national anthem before the start of the film as a mark of respect and appreciate the Negaraku campaign conducted by the Information Ministry.

Ministry secretary-general Datuk Seri Dr Arshad Hashim said cinemas were being encouraged to play the anthem after all commercials and movie trailers were shown..

Thanks to Paul who sent me this link. Well, if they really want this to happen, by all means go ahead. There is nothing we can do. Anyway, I supposed this campaign will be over by the time I get back.. hehe. People will not get more patriotic because of the National Anthem, it will only annoy them for taking their additional time before the show begins.

Oh well that's our Malaysia. If it's not like that then it's not Malaysia la..

i think its damn lame, and now i think i'll just go late and miss everything first...then again malaysian cinema sucks due to censorship.
