How Dare You?

I just did something amazing(or not) today. I didn't go for my Recording & Mixing Process exam! It was emergency. I couldn't even walk properly just now. Well, it was the day of the month! Didn't expect it to be so bad. I'd changed and everything and wearing shoe, but I just couldn't get myself to open the door. I was sweating and trying to endure the pain, try not to think.

I did call up a friend to inform my lecturer. Normally if the lecturer is nice enough, he/she will let the student resit the day after. Or else, will have to wait till the first week of the beginning of the month to resit and pay 15 bucks. At that moment when I decided not to attend, I couldn't be bothered. Everyone who know me, I'm not as irresponsible. Will try to explain to him tomorrow. The most important thing is I can resit. Phew..

True To Your Heart

I was having diarrhoea as well as PMS yesterday afternoon. How sad was that huh? Been running to the toilet pretty often. As soon as I ate or drank something, there.. Couldn't figure out the reason, but just take it as a way of detoxifation. Get rid of toxic!

That was why I couldn't make it for my friend's birthday party yesterday night! Felt so bad for not turning up and didn't get to meet some of those old mates! Well, What's done cannot be undone. Called her up just now to wish her and we should meet next Friday!

Went to QV to walk around this afternoon. Hang around Harvey Norman and Domayne. But of course the first priority was to get dad's birthday present! Got him a wallet. Been scratching my sculp off, almost, to think of a better idea for dad but to no avail. Its the thought that counts, dad. Sure you'll like it! Had vietnamese noodles for brunch, it was delicious! Especially the soup, yummy. Shopping for hours after that.. Got myself another pair of shoes, a Tees and a denim bermuda. A little too much I know, but sometimes its good to pamper yourself as long as you know where's your limit. I hadn't been buying stuff since ages, the last time was last week or so. Fair enough I suppose. Hehe.. Need some new clothes for new change! What change.. *secret*

Moody...

Haven't been blogging since last week or so. First of all, I was busy and second, my internet connection sux to the max but it seems like the speed is getting better this morning. Didn't have a good sleep yesterday night. I gotta blame the weather again! It was hot and humid. Additionally, this morning was cloudy! Damn, caused me mood swing. Or perhaps it was PMS too..

Well, whatever. Not my day that's all. Just finished wrapping a friend's pressie. Later in the evening gotta go for birthday dinner in south yarra with a bunch of ex-deakin mates. As for now, I better go do something to control my mood before I piss anyone off tonight! =)

Oh ya, to my 3 buddies back home and Matt in S'pore, received the gifts from u all yesterday! Thanks so much! That lilac Tees was gorgeous and the Hello Kitty crystal collections from Mcdonalds was superb!

Back to Studio

This morning was actually the second studio session for semester 2, but it was my first because I wasn't there last week. Luckily I managed to catch up today. Evan had been nice enough to go through it all over with me. Thanks man! He was the only one out of four who turned up last week.

I felt fully "recharged" after the session. Being in studio B was so much better than in studio C. The console itself was so much nicer at least. As for the gears, more patchbay units this time and also external pre-amp rather than built in. This morning is all about patching cables! From getting the signal in the console using dbx then compressed it to tape level and send effects to headphones and reverb back to the channel! It wasn't as hard as I thought! Mananged to do with the help of others! Though I woke up early today, but it was great!

St Kilda!

Had dinner at St Kilda just now. Felt so nice to be there again since ages ago, about a year since I last went there! Didn't know La Porchetta had moved to Fitzroy St instead of Acland St. So gotta took the tram all the way back. The food there wasn't as nice as before. Was a little disappointed though, but I was freaking hungry at that time, so I couldn't feel a thing!

This birthday was great. What in life could I ask for more? Maybe I was being a little too demanding now, I started to feel abit unhappy because 2 of my best friends didn't call me. I know, they might be busy and stuff, I understand too. But why them. Anyway, not so important, I was happy this morning when my sis cooked me noodle. As my dad said, traditional teochew people eat noodles with 2 eggs on their birthday itself! It was delicious and well-decorated with a chocolate cookie and cherry on top.

And as soon as we got back from St Kilda just now, I had been renaming my mp3 ID tag since then. Ipod Mini can't read the chinese character displayed by NJ Star, so I had to convert everything again! %@*%#&$&!@. What's important is the result, I did it, yay!

*Yawn* Time to go to bed! Nite everyone! Thanks for remember my b'day!

Happy Birthday Tracy! You're 23..!

Didn't have the time to blog yesterday. Maybe I was being lazy and also my sis was here.. hehe. They just finish celebrating with me. I chose that cake myself, Nocholato from Brunetti! Yea.. Got a Tiffany & Co. Necklace from my bf and crystal ball from my sis. The rest of the pressie were at home waiting for me!

I felt so happy! Just now we went for Japanese food for dinner. It wasn't too bad. Had this mix grilled seafood with prawn, fish, crab and squid, additionally gyoza and etc etc. We were drinking sake and I was a little drunk. Instead of saying kampai, I accidently said Ganbate! Both of them paused for a while and started laughing at me! So embarrassed!

Then we went to buy a bottle of wine, year 2000 carbernet sauvignon. Enjoying it while waiting till 12am to countdown to my birthday! Thanks so much to Miss Lynette Yap for being the first to call me!!! Really, thanks! Maybe everyone in Malaysia didn't realise the daylight saving time, or wait till 12am M'sia time to call me. Hehe, still I'm very happy!

Blogging now with half unconcious mind, gotta go take my shower and I shall be energetic again tomorrow! Happy Birthday!

Shopping!!

I had a great day! Went Victoria Market wif my sis and bf to have breakfast. Bought this BBQ chicken kebab for 5 bucks and I can't finish! Then went to get some organic fruits and vege and chinese grocery.

After that, my sis and I went shopping! It had been months since I last bought new clothes. I got myself a dress, a slipper, a belt and 2 tops. Kookai was having sales! 50% off! That was why I bought those tops. But the thing I really wanted to get was shoes, sport shoe to replace my adidas and another casual ones. I ended up buying clothes instead. We went to foot locker, hype or those surf n dive shop, but none of those that I liked. Then my sis started to say I have funny taste. I shall continue searching tomorrow..

Now, I'm drop dead tired. Been walking non stop for hours. Gotta take a short nap now.. hehe..

Ipod Mini

Just got my Ipod Mini in pink! An early birthday gift from my mum and bro.. So happy.. Thanks! The delivery man called up at 10am this morning, I didn't want to wake up when I heard the intercom but I knew it was my Ipod waiting for me, so quickly I rushed downstairs without even wash up!

Sis arrived yesterday night. We chat till 3am. That's why I couldn't wake up so early. I took out everything in the box, charged it and went back to sleep. Still laughing in my dream though.. I was having problems with that player. Need updates for both the hardware and software! Sigh, apple product. I love electronic stuff for some reason, I do not know why. This is my 3rd mp3 player! The first was just 32MB internal + external 64MB, second one was 128 internal + 64MB. I thought that was more than enough, but.. here I got a 4GB one! Yea! I wanted to sell off those old ones but I chose to keep now. Who will sell off part of themselves anyway?

I couldn't sleep well yesterday night as I was trying to sleep straight, as in facing up. I was trying to prove whether my pillow was the cause for those little red dots on my face. Bugs?? My face!! Damn! Proven that IT WAS! Why me? Sis gave me some german chamomile oil, it works, a little at least. I was using teatree oil before this but still the same.

We all woke up at 1pm without realising it was so late. As for me, continue "Ipod-ing"!

Exam + Sorethroat

Got exam later at 6pm, still haven't finish studying yet. So happy today, sis is on her way here! Yay! She will be here for a month and we'll be heading back home together! Can't wait for that, I crave for Malaysia food so badly!

I wasn't in the mood to blog yesterday, I was too full! Had "country pie". It wasn't really a pie though. Just cheese and mashed potato and minced meat and salsa sauce and cheese topping again. It was delicious, really. Anyone can cook this. Here's how it looked like..



I felt so sinful to have finished the whole bar of Crunch and so much cheese for dinner. Having sorethroat now because I ate the pie as soon as I took it out from the oven.

Yesterday on my way home, I was discussing the pros and cons of studying at JMC with 2 of my classmates. We came out with a conclusion that JMC sux! Most of the time. One question pop up from one of them, "Are you gonna stay on for second year at JMC?" I wish I knew the answer. For a split second, I wanted to say no because I wanted to transfer to SAE. But that defeats the purpose of me coming all the way here to Melbourne then. I could have go back home and study if it was SAE that I chose. Sometimes I wonder do I really like this course? Honestly, sometimes I do, sometimes I don't. At least most of the time I do. Sometimes I even wanted to head home straight away. But since I'm already in it, I won't give up so easily. Thats me. Turning back is a waste of everything. My goal is to get an Advanced Diploma and I will accomplish it.

Hi Tracy, this is Linda CorXXXX, your sister gave me your number.. etc etc.. That was the first thing I heard at 11am. She was asking me how to contact my sis as she needed to asked if it would be alright to pay us a visit at KL during chinese new year.. I tried to focus and remember by hard what she said. @#X*&%

As usual, I dreamt again. Funny dreams. The first dream was all about buying a book named "IT Computer Workbook" with 3 of my best friends. There were 3 sales assistant in the shop, but no one noticed that we came in. Later one of them told us to come back tomorrow after 5pm. One of my friends just said "NO" and they found the book for us. Haha.. The second dream was fetching my aunty to take away food. As soon as she finished and got up the car, another lady and her son were in my car! What she told me was her husband's car couldn't start and surprisingly I allowed her to follow me home??? She was making radish cake in my house..

Anyway, class ended slightly earlier. Took this pic while waiting for tram.

Bed Time Story

Time to go to bed.. going to continue my Harry Potter and the order of the phoenix. I'm only in chapter 13, still 25 more chapters to go. I'm a huge fan of Harry Potter! I got this book on the 21 June 2003. I was the only big kid in the queue in the bookshop. But who cares. I was so happy with a smile on my face all the way back. I didn't read the book as soon as I got it because I had an exam the next day. Still remember the back page: Dumbledore lowered his hands and surveyed Harry through his half-moon glasses. 'It is time', he said, 'for me to tell you what I should have told you five years ago, Harry. Please sit down. I am going to tell you everything.' I was so eager to know what is the thing that Dumbledore wanted to tell Harry! I waited till I finished my exam and managed to finish quarter of the book. How could I forget the existence of this book since then? It had been almost a year and now I'm reading it all over again. Can't wait to know what happen.

Laze around.. Haha..

I felt extremely lazy during the weekend, lazed the afternoon away in the house, wandering around is what I prefer to do. I was watching long vacation, AGAIN yesterday! The third time in the past 2 years! I really like movies and series, I don't know why. I wouldn't mind watching the whole day.

Been trying to tune to Hitz FM on dvrplayer.com, but it just couldn't connect! Woke up this afternoon and felt like listening to some Malaysia Radio Channel. Its a sign of home sick. Thinking of my family who are in Chiangmai now..

This is the second time they all went to Thailand without me. The first time was when I was standard 5, my passport was expired and I had to stay home. When they came back, Dad bought me a BMX! Compensation for leaving me home. And yesterday was the second time, because I'm here. Dad promised me a BMW (the tyres). Haha.. At least I had been to HatYai and Phuket. But those previous Thailand trip wasn't as good either, the only good thing is to go with my family. During the Phuket trip, I was drowned, almost I supposed. We were snorkeling in the midst of nowhere with strong wave. I couldn't even see a bloody coral! I knew something wrong and I struggled all the way back to the boat, as soon as I got up, I blacked out. Remain unconscious till I reached the shore. I think I scared everyone. And the second time to HatYai, it was fun but I wasn't in the right mood. Just broke up with my bf at that time a week ago or something. Felt so silly now when thought of it for sorta ruining my holiday. Well, not important anyways, just trying to convince myself that Thailand is not my lucky place. Hehe..

Gotta go get something to eat, blog again later.

Dreams...

I was woken up by thunder this morning, no.. afternoon. It was really rare to hear thunder in Melbourne. Moreover, I stayed at the top floor, of a sudden I was afraid to get strucked by it.

Back to my dream again, there were a total of 3 different dreams. The first one was during war time. I'm not sure where was that country, but apparently one party is trying to take over that country due to its strategic location. The strange thing is I saw elephants. The second dream was I won a swimming competition. I was a new comer in the swimming club and I don't understand the language they spoken. I kept falling into the pool before the competition start because I was standing on a uneven TABLE??? And when the referee blowed the whistle, I almost flew to the middle of the lane and I can swim so much faster than usual. Everyone gave me presents but I refused to accept, in the end I still take as they asked me to. The third dream was all about living in a house with strangers. I think everyone there were refugees. Can't remember details about this dream, but there were insects, lots of them attacking them, not me. Strange dream.. but this is absolutely normal for me.

Spicy Ramen

Went to eat spicy Ramen with an ex-classmate from Deakin, also she's the best buddy i met during my time in Australia. I got the brochure of the shop we went in my mailbox weeks ago, but don't really feel like going as I thought the brochure was not attractive enough.

My friend suggested to have spicy food for dinner. That shop flash in my mind when the word spicy hit my head. The name of that shop is "Kitty Cafe". I know, what on earth does it got to do with kitty and cafe? No idea..

I ordered Nabe Ramen and she and my bf ordered Spicy Beef Ramen. It was the most spicy food I ever tasted... in Melbourne! I could hardly feel my lips! I couldn't finish the other half as I really can't take it. Before we reached this place, we bumped into one of our old classmate! Honestly, I don't like her. She has got attitude problem. She looked at me and my bf as if we're stupid or something. She acted like she's so superior just because she had migrated here and thought she's pretty and smart. Ya, my ass.. (Pardon Me).

Well, that didn't spoil my mood though. In fact, I told myself that one day, she'll see me differently and know what I'm really good at. We left the shop then. From a sunny afternoon, suddenly it turned to a cold evening. Rain was pouring down heavily. Temperature dropped and it was raining cats and dogs.

We were all wet. So glad to came home.. We watched The ring 2. It was so scary! Especially when Sadako climb up the well.. Anyway, it was getting late and my friend need to catch a train back to BoxHill. We walked her to Spencer Station. That bloody station is in a mess. Arrows here and there, confusing signboards about platforms etc etc. Half of my jeans was wet and my poor Adidas was soaked in water.

I couldn't help laughing at those people at the station. They were enjoying themselves as if no one was watching. They were all wet and they were so happy. Entertaining themselves by singing with their hands holding the half-finished beer under the rain! The funniest thing is there was this guy standing beside a bin, looked half-dead. He was waiting to puke.. I couldn't help myself to roll my eyeballs towards his direction to see if he had finished his business.. I saw.. =)

I felt so good to catch up with this friend of mine. I had a nice day. And for now, I'm really tired. Good night all!

Sunny Friday!

Woke up pretty late today. I slept at almost 5am, thanks to Exorcist the movie. It is not as scary as i thought it would be. I dreamt that me and my younger brother were bitten by a snake, but at the end the snake died. In my dream chart, "snake - dead" means VICTORY. Victory in what sense, I don't have a clue. Whatever it is, it means something good.

During dinner time yesterday, was watching 继续无敌掌门人.. I was laughing so loud as if I own the whole building. Its really damn funny. For a short period of time, I couldn't breathe properly.

Waiting for a friend to come over and we're going out for dinner.. Still no sign of her.. Counting down to 6pm.. I shall wait..

First day to blog...

I have been reading a couple of my friends blog, but never thought it would be me to have one due to the matter of fact that I used to think the traditional way of keeping a diary is much better.

Well, I changed my mind. Not as hassle as I thought it would be. In fact, it's a way to "blast" out stuff. It all begins with a blog word in google and I found this site, here I am, writing this.

It has been drizzling since last night and still going on. Just had my so-called brunch + tea time with macaroni with miso soup, hash brown, chicken nuggets and prawn dumpling. Very filling indeed.

Almost forgot to mention that I just received a birthday card from my dear friend back home! This is the earliest card so far! Thanks gal, it really made my day.

I'm skipping tonight's class as I guess my temporary lecturer, John will not teach new things till next monday. The exam for this new module - Digital Fundamentals is scheduled next Wednesday, I still afford to miss one day. I'm so sick of changing lecturer from time to time, true in a way that they all have different areas of expertise, but of all, I still prefer Ric. He's the best.

There, my long weekend has begun...
